Permanent Wave and Curl Retexturizing
Optimize Volume with a sestructuring wave, infused with natural herbal extracts and anti oxidants, or Decrease excess volume and frizz with Xtenso restructuring treatment to control unruly frizz, or excessively curly hair.  We tame the tightest curls without over straightening like the “Japanese straightening” system.

Haircolour

Does your hair “glisten” in the moonlight?  Are you dripping in “honey” highlights?  Whether your wish is to add a “little warmth” or dazzle them with gemstone toned highlights like RUBY, SAPHIRE, AMYTHEST or CITRINE.  Under the guidance of our nationally certified Master Colourists, we bring you the most magnificent haircolour to hit the streets.  We recommend and use the latest colour technologies from L’Oreal Professional, Goldwell USA and MIN, 3 minute colour for men.

Sauna
 Far-infared radiant heat saunas have proven benefit, far and above standard wet/dry sauna rooms.  Clinical studies have shown that of the moisture emitted during a measured time period, conventional sauna perspiration contained 95-97% water, while those using far-infared  showed 80-85% water, and the non-water portion principally cholesterol, fat-soluble toxins, toxic heavy metals (such as mercury and aluminum), sulfuric acid, sodium, ammonia and ureic acid.  These heavy metals are not found in sweat from normal exercise.  Mercury is the most toxic element on earth, second only to plutonium.

Energy Healing Services
KAHI_LOA is known as “The Magic Touch”.  It relaxes the nervous system, opens the meridians to release “blocked energy” (similar to acupuncture) but non-invasive, cleanses and lifts the aura, leaving you feeling relaxed and in tune with your inner self.  Leave the Spa with a sense of well being and heightened awareness.

Tuning
Tuning forks are precise instruments that have the ability to change our inner tuning by creating a resonance throughout our mind, body and emotions.  They can do this by creating a VORTEX of sound that leads us into a still point which is a moment where everything seems to stop and we can “retune” ourselves.  Our nervous system, like the strings of a musical instrument, vibrates to the sound of the tuning forks.  This has been documented by Dr. Beaulieu.

Cranial, Facial and Neck massage
A relaxing session including: Cranial acupressure massage, lymphatic massage of the face, head, neck and shoulders.  This treatment can be very beneficial for stress relief, sinus pressure and headaches.  Breathing techniques, (piko-piko) are done with this session to bring you into a deeper level of relaxation.

Reiki Energy Healing
One of the more widely forms of energy healing.  Reiki involves direct application of CHI (pronounced chee)  universal Life Force energy for the purpose of strengthening the clients energy system or Aura.  Discovered in the late 1800’s by Dr. Usui, a Japanese practitioner and Dean, Reiki forms have continued with the healing forces being practiced in Chi Gong, Pranic Healing, Chelation and Polarity Balancing, all (apparently) using the same energies with the difference being the technique of application.

Visualization and Meditation
Come explore your inner self.  Learn the valuable lessons that life teaches us.  Through the use of touch and color therapy you  can begin a journey from where you began to where you are going.  We explore our potential and balance our energies or Chakras through this modality.  Discover and balance the seven Chakras,  Root, Sexual, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye (psychic center), and Crown.  Chakras are energy centers in the body that are associated with a variety of states of evolution, consciousness, organs, glands, colors, light and stones/crystals.  There are seven (7) Chakras in the human body.

Thailand Massage
Performed w/the guest dressed in loose clothing (such as Yoga pants/tank top) on a mat, utilizing a series of presses and stretching to relax the muscles, increase agility, and promote circulation of blood and lymphatic fluid for all over well being.

Tui Na Massage
Performed with client clothed or undressed and draped, utilizing hand techniques to restore correct anatomical musculoskeletal relationships, neuromuscular patterns and removal of bio-chemical irritants from the system.

Aromatherapy Body Wraps
Consultation to determine guest needs and an appropriate blend of aroma theraputic oils are infused in a layering technique that wraps the client in a theraputic cocoon, wrapped in a heated blanket of warmth, taking you to a new level of detoxification and relaxation. This treatment also incorporates head and neck massage. 1 1/2 hours.
